About the Author
Dr Radhika Soundararajan is a practising pediatric counselor with over 23 years of experience. She is currently working as a psychologist at Saveetha University, Chennai. Her work exemplifies a Vedantic approach to psychological therapy. She consults with schools as a psychologist conducting training programs for teachers, parents and students. For the past 15 years she has been associated with Vidya Sagar (formerly the Spastics Society of India), teaching educational psychology and has been training students in counseling skills. Apart from counseling she teaches psychology to medical, dental, paramedical students and practitioners. She is also involved in curriculum development for several undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. She has published several articles on adolescence in The Hindu.
